Terms of Sale
Last updated: 20 October 2026
The key points
- You are buying from TOP SCHETOVODSTVO EOOD, a Bulgarian limited liability company that sells MagiaStoria products. You are not buying from any individual person.
- Our products are digital PDF files. Nothing is shipped.
- Personalized adventures are made to order from the details you give at checkout. At checkout you ask us to start straight away and you accept that you lose the right of withdrawal once we start. After that, there are no refunds for change of mind.
- If we make a mistake or a file doesn't work, we fix it free of charge. If we can't fix it, we refund you.
- The files are for your own household and private, non-commercial use only. You may not share or resell them.
- An adult must prepare and supervise the adventure and choose only safe hiding places.
- The full terms below apply. If this summary and the full terms differ, the full terms prevail.
1. Who we are
MagiaStoria products are sold by TOP SCHETOVODSTVO EOOD, a single-member limited liability company (EOOD) registered in the Commercial Register of the Republic of Bulgaria.
- Registered office: 1 Pleven Str., Sofia, Bulgaria
- UIC: 201665695
- VAT number: BG201665695
- Email: support@magiastoria.com
- Contact form: index.html#/contact
In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean TOP SCHETOVODSTVO EOOD. "You" means the person placing the order. Your contract is with the company alone. No shareholder, director, employee or contractor of the company is a party to the contract or personally liable under it.
2. Scope of these Terms
These Terms apply to every purchase of a MagiaStoria product made through our website https://magiastoria.com, where the checkout is provided by Payhip, and through any other sales channel that links to these Terms. If you buy through a marketplace such as Etsy, that marketplace's own rules also apply. Where they conflict with these Terms on a marketplace matter (such as payment or the marketplace's dispute process), the marketplace rules prevail.
Our Refund & Withdrawal Policy forms part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
We do not accept any other terms that you propose, unless we agree to them in writing.
Some sections of these Terms apply differently depending on where you live and whether you buy as a consumer or as a business. Where that is the case, we say so. Nothing in these Terms removes a right that you have as a consumer under mandatory law that cannot be changed by contract.
3. Who may buy
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. Our products are designed to be bought by parents, legal guardians and other adults, for children. Children must not place orders or contact us directly.
4. Our products
MagiaStoria products are digital printable adventures supplied as PDF files. No physical item is shipped.
- Personalized products are made to order using the details you enter at checkout, such as a child's first name and the hiding places you choose. They are not available until we have prepared them.
- Instant products (where offered) are not personalized and are available to download straight after payment.
The product page describes the main features of each product: content, age guidance, number of players, approximate play and preparation time, paper size and what you need. Please read it carefully before you buy. Sample images and previews are for illustration. Your personalized copy will contain your own details, so its text, line breaks and layout may differ slightly from the samples.
Age guidance, play times and preparation times are estimates. They depend on your child, the number of players and your home. You decide whether a product is suitable for your child.
What you need to use the product
You are responsible for having, at your own cost:
- a device and software that can open and print PDF files (for example, a current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader);
- a working printer, paper of the size stated on the product page (A4 unless the product page says otherwise), and ink;
- scissors and a pencil where the instructions say so;
- a working email address and access to it.
Our PDFs are formatted for A4 paper unless the product page says otherwise. If you print on another paper size, such as US Letter, parts near the page edges may be trimmed or the layout may differ. This is not a defect.
Follow the printing instructions supplied with the product, including printing at "Actual size / 100%". Colour, sharpness and margins depend on your printer, paper and settings. Differences caused by them are not defects.
5. How the contract is made
- You choose a product on our website and click "Buy this adventure". This takes you to the secure checkout provided by Payhip.
- At checkout you enter your email address, payment details and, for personalized products, the personalization details. You can check and correct everything you have entered before you pay by editing the fields on the checkout page.
- You confirm that you accept these Terms. For personalized products, you also expressly request that we start immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once we start.
- You submit the order by clicking "Buy Now". This is your offer to buy.
- The contract is formed when your payment is successfully processed and you receive the purchase confirmation, which Payhip sends by email on our behalf.
The contract is concluded in English. We do not keep an individually filed copy of your contract that you can access later. The version of these Terms and of the Refund & Withdrawal Policy that applied to your order is included in your purchase confirmation file. Please save it.
Orders we may refuse or cancel
We may refuse an order, or cancel it before we supply it, if:
- we suspect fraud or unauthorized use of a payment method, or the payment is reversed;
- the price or product information shown was obviously wrong because of a technical or typing error;
- the personalization details are offensive, unlawful, or use a third party's trademark, a fictional character's name or a well-known person's name;
- we cannot technically produce the personalization (see section 7) and you have not given us usable details within 7 days of our request;
- we reasonably believe the product is being bought for resale or other commercial use without a commercial licence.
If we cancel, we refund the full amount you paid. This refund is our only obligation to you for the cancellation.
6. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the product page and at checkout (currently US dollars). They include any VAT that applies, as shown at checkout. Any currency-conversion charges or foreign-transaction fees charged by your bank or card issuer are your responsibility.
Payments are processed by Stripe through the Payhip platform. We never see or store your full card number. For sales to customers in the EU and the UK, Payhip calculates, collects and pays VAT and may appear on your receipt in that role.
If we lower a price after your purchase, we do not refund the difference. Discount codes cannot be combined unless we say otherwise. They have no cash value and may be withdrawn at any time before they are used.
7. Personalization details
To make a personalized product, we need the details requested at checkout: currently the child's first name or nickname and the hiding places you choose. Please give only what we ask for. Do not enter surnames, addresses, dates of birth, school names, photos or other details about a child.
By entering these details, you confirm that:
- you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or you have their permission to give us the details;
- the details are accurate and lawful and do not infringe anyone's rights.
Names. We reproduce the name as you typed it. We may adjust letter case to fit the design. We support Latin letters, common accents, spaces, apostrophes and hyphens, up to 24 characters, within the space the design allows. If we cannot use a name, we will contact you. If you do not give us a usable alternative within 7 days, we may cancel the order and refund you.
Hiding places. Choose only places that are safe in your home (see section 11). If your choices are incomplete, repeated or cannot be used, we will contact you. The delivery time starts when we have complete, usable details.
Your mistakes. We are not responsible for errors in details you gave us, such as a misspelt name. If you tell us before your file is prepared, we will try to correct it. After that, any re-creation is at our discretion. We may charge a re-creation fee, which we will tell you before doing the work. Our mistakes are always corrected free of charge (see the Refund & Withdrawal Policy).
8. Delivery
Personalized products are emailed to the address you entered at checkout. We normally deliver within 24 hours of receiving complete, usable personalization details. Between 20 and 31 October and between 1 and 24 December, delivery may take up to 72 hours.
Instant products are available through the Payhip download link straight after payment.
The product is supplied when we send the email containing your file or make your download link available. Please check your spam, junk and promotions folders. If you have not received your file within the times above, contact us and we will resend it. If we then still fail to deliver without undue delay, you may cancel the order and we will refund you in full.
Event dates. We do not guarantee delivery by a particular date or event, such as Halloween or Christmas, unless we have confirmed that date to you in writing. Order early. If you order close to an event, you accept the risk that the file may arrive after it.
Keep your files. Download and save your files as soon as you receive them. Download links may expire. On request, we will resend files for up to 180 days after delivery. After that, we are not obliged to.
9. Withdrawal, cancellations and refunds
The rules on withdrawal, cancellations, faulty files and refunds are set out in our Refund & Withdrawal Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short, once we have started preparing your personalized product, you cannot cancel it or get a refund for change of mind. We will always fix files that are faulty or that contain our own mistakes.
10. Licence and intellectual property
All MagiaStoria content, including the stories, characters, illustrations, puzzles, clues, layouts, designs, files, logos and the MagiaStoria name, is owned by its author and licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. TOP SCHETOVODSTVO EOOD sells MagiaStoria products under licence. Buying a product gives you a licence to use it. It does not transfer ownership of any content or rights.
Your licence
When you pay in full, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:
- download and store the files on your own devices;
- print as many copies as you need to play the adventure;
- use the product within your household and at private, non-commercial gatherings that you host, such as a family party or a playdate.
What you may not do
Without our prior written permission, you may not:
- share, forward, email, upload, post or otherwise make the files available to anyone outside your household, including in shared drives, groups, forums or file-sharing sites;
- sell, resell, rent, sublicense, give away or bundle the files or printouts;
- use the product at paid events or for any commercial purpose, including in schools, classrooms, libraries, clubs, camps, party or event businesses, or holiday rentals;
- copy, adapt or reuse the stories, characters, illustrations, puzzles or layouts to create other products, including competing products;
- use any part of the content to train, test or prompt artificial-intelligence systems;
- remove or change any copyright notice, branding or identifier in the files;
- claim the content as your own.
Commercial and classroom licences may be available. Contact us at support@magiastoria.com.
Our files may contain visible or invisible identifiers linked to your order, so that we can trace unauthorized copies.
If you breach this licence, it ends automatically without notice, you must delete all copies, and you are not entitled to a refund. We may also disable your download access, and we and the rights holder may take any legal action available, including claims for damages and injunctions.
11. Safety and adult supervision
MagiaStoria adventures take place in your home. They are designed to be prepared and supervised by an adult. You are responsible for:
- reading the parent instructions before you start, and following them;
- choosing hiding places and hiding the items yourself;
- supervising the children at all times during play;
- deciding whether the activity and its content (including mildly spooky themes) suit your child.
Choose only safe hiding places. Keep every item dry, indoors and within reach without climbing. Never hide anything:
- in or near stoves, ovens, heaters, fireplaces, candles or other heat sources;
- in or near electrical sockets or cables, or inside freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers or other appliances. If you choose the refrigerator, use only a dry, easy-to-reach shelf inside it, away from food and liquids, as the instructions describe;
- in water or anywhere wet, including bathtubs and toilets. If you choose the bathroom sink, use a dry spot beside it, away from water and cleaning products;
- near stairs, windows, balconies or anything that must be climbed;
- near medicines, cleaning products, tools, sharp objects or anything else that could be dangerous;
- outside your home. Use the inside of a front door only, and do not let children open it or go outside during play.
An adult should do all cutting with scissors. Keep paper components away from children under 3 and from pets. Do not use open flames or real candles as decorations.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage caused by the hiding places you choose, by lack of supervision, or by failure to follow these safety rules or the product instructions. This does not limit our liability where section 13 says it cannot be limited.
12. Faulty files and your statutory rights
We supply our products in line with the product description and these Terms. If a file is not delivered, cannot be opened, has missing pages, contains a personalization mistake made by us, or is materially different from the product description, tell us and we will put it right as set out in the Refund & Withdrawal Policy.
Cooperation. If you report a problem, you agree to cooperate with us, within reason, so that we can find out whether it is caused by your device, software, printer or settings. For example, you may need to send us a screenshot, tell us which PDF reader and printer you use, or try opening a test file. If you do not cooperate after we have asked you to, then to the extent permitted by law you must prove that the file was faulty when we supplied it.
These are not defects: problems caused by your device, software, printer, paper, ink or print settings; printing at the wrong scale or on a different paper size; failure to follow the instructions; mistakes in details you gave us; a child finding the adventure too easy, too hard or not to their taste; or small differences between sample images and your personalized copy.
Consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK keep all the statutory rights that apply to digital content and that cannot be excluded. These include the right to have faulty content brought into conformity and, if that is not possible, to a price reduction or (except where the fault is minor) to end the contract and get a refund. These rights apply within the period set by law.
Customers elsewhere: to the maximum extent permitted by your local law, the products are provided "as is". We exclude all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You must report any problem within 14 days of delivery. Your only remedy is that we will, at our choice, correct or resend the file or refund the price you paid.
13. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights for faulty digital content;
- any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of enjoyment of a particular occasion or event;
- we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as failures of Payhip, Stripe, email providers or internet services, power cuts, cyber-attacks, illness, or acts of authorities;
- our total liability to you for each order is limited to the price you paid for that order.
If you buy as a business, we are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, and our total liability is limited to the price paid for the order.
14. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If something is wrong, please contact us first at support@magiastoria.com. We aim to reply within 2 business days, and most problems are solved with a corrected or resent file.
If you open a payment dispute or chargeback for an order that we delivered in line with these Terms, we will contest it. We will give the payment processor and your bank the evidence we hold: your order details, your confirmations at checkout (including your express request for immediate supply and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal), delivery records and our correspondence with you.
While a dispute is open, your licence to use the product is suspended. If a chargeback is decided in your favour although the product was delivered as described, your licence ends, you must delete all copies, and we may refuse future orders from you and recover the amount owed by lawful means.
This section does not affect your right to dispute a payment that you did not authorize or that was fraudulent.
15. Reviews and content you send us
Reviews. We publish reviews and testimonials only from customers who bought the product, and we check each one against our order records before we publish it. When you submit a review, testimonial or feedback, you give us a free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, publish, translate and display it, with your first name and the initial of your surname, on our store, social media and advertising. We may publish excerpts, but we will not change the meaning. We may decline to publish reviews that are offensive or unlawful or that contain personal data.
Ideas and suggestions. We may use any idea or suggestion you send us freely, without any obligation to you.
Photos and videos. If you send us, or tag us in, photos or videos of the adventure, you give us a free licence to repost them on our channels. We will ask for your separate permission before we publish any image in which a child can be identified.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms at any time by publishing a new version. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order.
17. General
- Transfer. We may transfer the contract to another company, for example if the business is sold or reorganized, as long as this does not reduce your rights. You may not transfer your rights under the contract without our written consent.
- Severability. If a court or authority finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest remains in force.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a right at once, we can still enforce it later.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Refund & Withdrawal Policy and the product page information make up the whole agreement between you and us about your purchase.
- Third parties. No one other than you and us has any rights under the contract.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and the contract are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.
If you are a consumer living in the EU or the EEA, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live. You may bring proceedings in the courts of Sofia, Bulgaria, or in the courts of the country where you live. We can bring proceedings against you only in the country where you live.
Customers outside the EU and the EEA, and business customers: to the maximum extent permitted by law, the courts of Sofia, Bulgaria, have exclusive jurisdiction. Any claim must be brought on an individual basis only, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action. You waive any right to a jury trial. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, unless the law requires a longer period.
Out-of-court dispute resolution. Consumers in Bulgaria may refer a dispute to the Conciliation Commissions of the Commission for Consumer Protection (www.kzp.bg). Consumers in other EU countries can get free help from the European Consumer Centres network (ECC-Net). We are not obliged to take part in out-of-court dispute resolution unless the law requires it.
